Do I receive training from Kahala?

We offer a comprehensive training program that delivers all the tools you need to efficiently operate your restaurant. Prior to opening, you will receive in-store training that outlines the operational systems used in your restaurant. Additionally, you will be issued your operations manual and toolkit. Upon completion of your in-store training you will spend five days at the Kahala Training & Education Center (KTEC) in Scottsdale, Ariz. Topics covered at KTEC include coaching, customer service, training, business information, marketing, crisis management, profitability and more. To complete your formal training, your designated representative will provide on-site support for your grand opening to make sure that you have been given the proper tools for long-term success.

What type of support will I receive?

A brand president or vice president of operations is at the heart of each brand and they are equipped with a passionate team of sales, marketing and operations talent to support the brand and its franchisees.

You will also have a designated regional representative available to support you and answer questions along the way. They will be your day-to-day contact throughout the process of opening your store, and they will continue to support you as you grow your business. This representative is located in your region so they know you, your store and your business opportunities.

Can I open more than one store/brand?

Yes. We encourage qualified franchisees to open multiple locations and explore unique co-branding opportunities with other Kahala brands where opportunities are available.

How much money can I earn each year?

As indicated in our Franchise Disclosure Documents, we do not make any representations about a franchisee's future financial performance or the past financial performance of company-owned or franchised outlets. We also do not authorize our employees or representatives to make any such representations either orally or in writing. However, we agree it is a critical question for you to have answered. We invite you to speak with our current franchisees to learn about their sales numbers.
